Welcome to several new members of the Florida Community Action Network!
Mr. Robert Wilford officially assumed the position of Executive Director of the Central Florida Community Action Agency, Inc. on November 20, 2006. We welcome him back to the Florida Community Action Network.
The network has a new community action agency -- Osceola County Council on Aging, Inc., recently designated as the CSBG eligible entity to provide services in Osceola County. Ms. Beverly Hougland, Executive Director, and her staff have been providing LIHEAP services in the county since last year.
Immokalee Multicultural Multipurpose Community Action Agency, Inc. that serves Collier County has a new Executive Director, Olga Hernandez. Ms. Hernandez previously worked at Redland Christian Migrant Association for a number of years.
Lee County has a new CSBG/LIHEAP Program Manager, Ms. Kim Hustad who comes to us from the chilly state of Minnesota.
Welcome to Ms. Hougland and her staff, Ms. Hernandes and Ms. Hustad to the Florida Community Action Agency network.
Mr. Artie Fryer with Hillsborough County CAP recently became Florida's fourth certified ROMA trainer. This takes a lot of work and dedication. Congratulations to Mr. Fryer.
